Life is like a vapor—here one moment and gone the next. From the Bible to our fleeting days, the notion of life’s brevity has always been a haunting reminder that time waits for no one. Yet, in a world consumed by distractions, how often do we ponder our final breath or the legacy we leave behind? Are you ready to face your inner demons?

When I was just four, maybe five, my mother left. Looking at my children today, I estimate I was around four. Her leaving marked the start of a tumultuous childhood filled with sorrow, but not defeat. Abuse, loss, and confusion ensued, yet that was not how my story would end.

From a young age, I sensed God’s presence in my life—a friend I couldn’t fully understand but who followed me everywhere. Funny enough, attending church felt like a mockery of this friendship. The God I knew wasn’t in sermons, not in family chatter, nor in the empty words of teachers or politicians. Even now, as a parent, I see all the paths I could have taken but didn’t. The odds were stacked against me, yet here I stand, holding my own magic wand. My mind.

Childhood abuse is no excuse. There, I said it. If your past holds you back, that’s on you. The only true counselor is God and he allows you to use his power if teachable. But let’s get one thing straight: nobody is coming to save you. This is a spiritual war for souls, and it’s time to take control of the one thing you still own, your mind.

Our society loves the blame game. It’s always someone else’s fault. Sound familiar? Well, here’s a reality check: the only thing you can truly control in life is your mind. Yet, most people fail to do even that. Trapped in their own illusions, they stumble through life in a trance, never questioning the path they’re on.

Actionable Step: Every day, take a good, honest look in the mirror. Your growth and change are in your hands. Start small, but be intentional. If you slip up, forgive yourself immediately and clear those negative thoughts from your mind. Replace them with gratitude. Gratitude is more than just being thankful; it’s a readiness to show appreciation and return kindness. Repeat this to yourself daily, multiple times if needed. Write it on sticky notes and place them around your home, at your job—wherever you need the reminder. Memorize it like the GPS guiding you back home.

“Have a burning desire.” How many times have we heard this phrase? But what does it really mean? It’s not just some abstract idea; it’s a call to search your soul, face your inner demons, and sell out for something real—Truth. Most people coast through life in a fog, oblivious to the deeper realities around them.

Break free from the societal mold. This isn’t just a line from The Matrix; it’s a lifestyle. Your life can be full and complete, not some half-truth that keeps you enslaved. Isn’t there a prick in your heart hinting that something more is out there?

Actionable Step: Dedicate time each week to something that challenges your comfort zone. Whether it’s a new skill or confronting a fear, let that burning desire push you forward.

Use Your Spouse’s Power: When two minds come together as a team, they are far more powerful than one working alone. I recently stumbled upon a scripture that captures the importance of unity in marriage: “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” – Matthew 18:20

Learn to forgive one another quickly and to see the true enenmy at work. Even those times make you or break you. Matthew 18:21-35 Then Peter came to Him and asked, “Lord, how many times will my brother sin against me and I forgive him and let it go? Up to seven times?” Jesus answered him, “I say to you, not up to seven times, but seventy times seven.

Take a moment to truly meditate on that. The two of you, joined in purpose, become an unstoppable force. With that kind of unity, anything you imagine can be brought to life. But what’s the key ingredient? It’s faith. Faith arrives like a friend you’ve longed for, wrapped in warmth and familiarity. As you grow closer to her, you realize how much you’ve missed her presence in your life. So, take the time to fall in love with faith and with your spouse.

When people truly wake up, things start changing. Lately, I’ve been grappling with who I am and where my life is headed. And just like clockwork, that pesky devil starts whispering sweet nothings: insecurities, fear, the whole nine yards. But fear is just his trickery, a ploy to keep you in line.

Yes, stepping out of the mainstream is terrifying. It means confronting who you are and what you might find. But that’s where true transformation begins. Once you take control of your mind, you can reclaim your life.

Actionable Step: Commit to spending an entire month completely unplugged. No screens, no distractions—just you and your thoughts. Use this time to reflect on what you truly want in life and how you can achieve it. Our family made the decision to unplug for good, and we’ve never looked back. Together, we’ve accomplished more than most and want to share this journey with other families who feel the same. Let us help!

Stepping out of the societal web isn’t a one-time deal; it’s a daily battle. There’s a retraining program happening in your mind every day, teaching you to conquer obstacles. Sometimes, it feels like an uphill climb. Yet, each victory makes you stronger.

Key Point: Embrace the struggle. The more you push through, the closer you get to mastering your own mind. Eventually, the fight fades, and you simply embody the mind of God, acting accordingly. God doesn’t operate on the same level as humans; He is supernatural and offers His power to those who are ready to use it wisely. In the wrong hands, things can go astray—this is why 99% of people remain under the control of the opposition.

God isn’t some distant figure waiting to punish you. He is within you, guiding you through every trial. When you align with the one you’ve chosen, your life transforms in ways you never imagined. Trust me, I’ve been down this road. My power is something to be reckoned with, and that power is God dwelling inside of me.

Actionable Step: You need to wake up every single day ready to fight off the enemy invading your mind the second your eyes open until you go to bed. With a burning desire, you’ve got to nail every moment, aligning it perfectly with the mind of God. It’s like training a muscle—the more you do it, the easier it becomes. Don’t make excuses.

Final Call to Action: If you’re still lost or unsure about what I’m saying, go back to the top and read it again. Then pinch yourself and WAKE UP. Your time is running out.

Every day is a choice. Will you keep sleepwalking through life, letting the days pass in a haze of routine and distraction? Or will you wake up, take control, and seize the life that was always meant for you? This isn’t just about surviving; it’s about reclaiming your mind and breaking free from the chains of fear, doubt, and complacency.

Reclaiming your mind is the first step. It means taking ownership of every thought, every action, and every habit. It means being intentional about how you spend your time, who you surround yourself with, and what you allow into your consciousness. This isn’t easy—it requires vigilance, effort, and yes, a burning desire. But once you harness that desire, the journey becomes your life’s mission.

Every moment is an opportunity to push forward, to align yourself with the higher calling that’s been tugging at your heart. It’s about embracing the struggle and recognizing that true growth only comes from facing your inner demons. As you take each step, the fog starts to lift, and the path ahead becomes clearer. The power is already within you; you just need to choose to wield it.

So, what will it be? Will you remain in the comfort of your current existence, floating aimlessly through the motions? Or will you stand up, shake off the apathy, and decide that enough is enough? The choice is yours. No one is going to make it for you. You have the power to break free, to reclaim your life, and to live with intention.
